Hulu does have a lot of original programming out there right now.

Tbh, I haven't really tried watching any Hulu shows before. Before Netflix, it was mostly cable TV for me. And then the streaming sites suddenly did original TV shows.

I totally get it, Lindsay. I never watched one before Handmaid's Tale. Once Netflix got a lot of great response from original programming, it seemed to be a thing to for the streaming sites to create shows.

I think originally streaming sites were supposed to be a chance for you to watch old shows you may have missed before. Was Netflix the first streaming site to do original programming?

I think Netflix was the first one to do it. If they weren't the first, they were the first to get acclaimed projects that were really well done. House of Cards is the first one i remember hearing about and people being really impressed with.

I originally got Hulu to catch up the latest episodes of network shows on my own time. It was like my version of getting DVR.
