I love how so many big names are doing TV now. Helen Mirren is huge.

The reason I watched Big Little Lies was because of all the positive reviews about the show, I didn't intend to watch it initially. I was also very lukewarm, I didn't know what to expect. I also felt like I wasn't going to enjoy the show but I enjoyed the 1st ep right away.

So true! Plus the cinematography was so gorgeous too. I really felt like the location was its own character in the story.
