The only thing I'm looking forward to with this Nate/Cassie eye sore is Maddy finding out and hopefully kicking her ass lol. Otherwise, keep that nastiness offscreen for me. I always thought Lexi was younger than Cassie, Lexi was such a nonentity in S1 I barely remember anything else about her beside being Cassie's sister and her crush on Rue (and I even forgot that) I don't think anyone ever said what any of their ages are, but Fez seems to be in his early or mid 20's so I just don't see them pairing him with a high school girl. I'm here for his increased airtime though. Even though they have only aired two episodes, going by the second episode I don't know where they are going with anything. The first episode worked for me cause everyone was at the same party and it mainly focused on everyone. The second episode did seem all over the place and trying way too hard with all this Nate and Cassie crap. I also don't like that we have barely seen Kat since this season started too, did her airtime go down cause Lexi is getting more? lol. The direction does seem weird though, and like I said I personally feel like them going this hard with Nate/Cassie is them throwing anything at the wall to see what sticks. I also feel their trying too hard with the nudity. S1 had nudity but it was natural and made sense when it happened, only two episodes in I feel like all the Cassie nudity or random penises is overkill IMO. However, I'm trying not to bash it too early and hope it's good like S1 was. I hope the other episodes are more in order like S1 was and finds its footing. I have faith in this season, and I'm still glad the show is finally back after two years.

i thought lexi seemed older but if she was friends with rue then probably younger. i can see cassie/maddy being a year older than the other girls but i have no idea.

or random penises is overkill IMO.
:lmao: i dot remember seeing a penis in season 1 but i think its nice... only because lets share the nudity a bit, and not always make it the women.

with that said, they are probably utilizing cassie because sydney is comfortable doing nude scenes and the other actresses might not be.

Butterfly85 01-20-2022 02:37 PM

I remember them showing peen in S1, but they have shown a lot in S2 already. I do agree though that I've always been for equal nudity since in most things it's always women showing nudity and not guys. In general right now, I think they need to tone it down on the excessive and unnecessary nudity IMO.

Alexa 01-20-2022 07:40 PM

At least with Cassie, we dont need to see her boobs every episode (even though they are nice boobs lol)

how about that scene with nates dad eating ass... :lmao: i was DYING

Butterfly85 01-20-2022 08:36 PM

Yuck.

Alexa 01-23-2022 11:25 PM

More penises for you

This season is mehhhh IDK whats wrong it just feels so chaotic and weird. I especially didn't like this episode, it felt too campy to me. And the characters dont feel consistent whatsoever...

They spent way too much time on Cal's backstory. I would have liked it on any other show but Cal is an ass so I didn't really care (the actors had good chemistry though). Unless we see his friend again there wasnt really a point? And after showing us the start I wanted to know what happened afterwards.

Then they randomly jump into Lexi a bit??? I wanted a full episode on her.

They are ruining Cassie, god shes so weird this season.

Kat is blink and miss it.

The only part of the episode I really enjoyed with Rue/Jules and Elliot, they were fun. The Eliott/Jules scene was a bit weird. Are they really going to make Rue Asexaul? It seems obvious they are writing rue and jules to fail...

Rue getting involved in selling drugs now, good lord... She's a mess. Why the heck would she bring them to the meeting? And the scene with Ali was so cringey. Why is she suddenly being such a bitch?

God Ash is a badass. But a little scary.

I love Fez so damn much, the scene with Cal had be rolling.

This episode was my favorite on this season so far, but I agree so far S1 is much better. I'm just glad the episode focused on Rue more than the Nate/Cassie porn. I also preferred how they did the backstories and character focused episodes in S1. Now the random backstory flashbacks in the opening scene feel weird and pointless, especially when they just fly away to everyone else and don't even really go back to that story. I don't care about Cal either, he and his son are sick bastards that need some damn help. I HATE Cassie this season, this has to be a record for a show ruining a character. She's acting so desperate and trashy. She's that desperate for some D this bad? If so she can easily get it anywhere else but her best friend's violent, psychotic ex. She looks like a cheap hooker waiting on the curb every week for Nate, she's straight up trash. I don't get where she thinks this can go, he's USING her. I can't wait till Maddy finds out. I'm glad he left Cassie's thirsty ass waiting by the curb to run to Maddy's house instead, it's what her dumb ass gets.

Even though Rue/Jules had their hottest and heaviest scenes in this episode, I'm still not feeling the chemistry this season. It was much better last season, it's so odd for me but it could also be cause of how bad they are quickly making Rue looks this season and in this episode. I feel like they might have Elliot and Jules sleep together, I thought if something happened it would be Rue cheating on Jules with him. I also hope they don't tease a threesome, but I don't get what the hell is going on. I hated how Rue hurt Ali, that was such a b*tchy thing to do but I guess it just shows how desperate her drug addiction has really gotten. I'm very scared for Rue, but have been since this season started. Realistically she should die from all this drug swimming but since Zendaya plays Rue she will obviously be okay. I loved Fez's reaction to everything with Cal and his screwed up son. You can make that sick bs up lmao.

exactly

i think Cassie just feels really useless and not worthy so shes trying to find worth in being nates secret, and believing that nate really likes her. Its very sad. Shell figure it out sooner or later.

I def. dont want maddy or cassie to be involved with nate any longer but that ending was predictible. i just hope nate dies this season.

I got that vibe.

Fez is the best character definitely.

I just find it funny last season when McKay and Cassie had sex for the first time and he put his hand around her neck (cause it was rumored she liked it rough) she instantly put him in his place and told him not to do that. However, this season she is happy to be a sex toy to a dude that will choke her out for real. He put his hand around her neck in the bathroom and she had nothing to say about that, does she want bruises around her neck like he put on Maddy's? Even though Cassie is clingy and easy, I wish they would make her issues this season more laid out. It's most likely from the abortion and I wish they would go more into that cause she wasn't acting this desperate last season. Their just making her look like a dumb, nasty, and selfish tramp. I feel like she's better than this, but I have no sympathy for her and she's ruined for me after this. It's obvious Maddy will eventually find out, but I wonder if McKay will? He seemed to have a cameo in the first episode and has been gone since. He needs to find out what Cassie's been doing too.

Love Fez this season. I don't think Nate is going to die, but I hope I'm wrong. So far he doesn't seem as evil as he did last season, but this bs with Cassie is just as disgusting. He's dragging her down with him. I'm a little surprised Nate hasn't done more to Fez after he kicked his ass and just seems to act like it never happened. I hope they have Fez beat his face in again lol.

The character development for cassie is really bad, it feels like a completely different character this year.

Im perfectly okay with mckay never coming back i cant stand him.

They also totally dropped the whole nate/jules storyline i feel like.

Im sure Nate is preparing his revenge for Fez.

Butterfly85 01-27-2022 11:17 AM

Character development, they basically decapitated Cassie lol. Yeah, I noticed they dropped the huge Nate/Jules storyline from last season too. I'm torn on that cause I personally hate when storylines are dropped with no explanation (Nate was even more obsessed with Jules than Cassie) cause it's sloppy and annoying, but I hated how he tortured Jules for no reason last season. So I'm glad he's leaving her alone, go infect someone else.

I just posted this cause I hope it's confirmation when Maddy finds out about Nate and Cassie she kicks her desperate, pathetic ass. So if that's the case I'm looking forward to it lol.

Alexa 01-28-2022 09:03 PM

Im very curious to see how the season will play out and where they are going to go, with Euphoria i really cant predict lol

Alexa 01-31-2022 01:13 AM

I dont know what it is about this season that just feels off but something is weird about it to me.

With that said, I did enjoy this episode because a LOT happened. Still a chaotic mess but interesting...

Cassie is so weird this season, I honestly dont get her. She was all pod like and depressed for so long but then in the scene with Nate she was acting like Maddy with the way she was yelling at him? It just felt weird to me?? im just confused on the whole thing. And I was actually kinda surprised that Nate didnt hook up with Maddy when he went to see her.

Maddy's blow up in the hot tub was freaking weird too and also shows how much they suck together. To be honest, she was the one being annoying there not Nate. Nate hasnt even been bad this season, it feels too strange.

I was a tad confused on the Fez scene? What was that about???

Rue is a FREAKING MESS. Absolute mess. Her faking the orgasm, CRINGE. She is totally neglecting Jules because shes using again. And then her saying that she was sick of Jules or whatever she said, damn. They just really suck together. How can people ship them?? They are the worst. Then she took the drugs she was supposed to sell, good lord girl you are SO DUMB its not even funny.

I was actually rooting for Jules to hook up with Eliott. They had chemistry. And I was glad he told her the truth about the drugs too. I dont care, i ship it.

The monologue from Cal was kind of funny but he also just sucks so bad. Like what a horrible father. All of his scenes this episode were cringey as hell. I do wanna know what happened to his old best friend.

Butterfly85 01-31-2022 11:12 AM

I really loved this episode and last week's, but I agree they still don't compare to S1. I guess the episodes are better when it's not completely focused on Nate and Cassie banging and nothing else. I really hope that is over, it's always been forced, it's annoying, and it's ruined Cassie. I'm so sick of that crazy bimbo, man I miss the Cassie from S1. Yeah, I found the hot tub scene really bizarre and forced, Maddy went in on all the things Nate said he wants to do with her to mess with Cassie's desperate ass (It's just one of the many things about this season that doesn't feel natural. Like the peen quota this season, they had to get their one this episode lol) then she vomits? God she's the worst this season, you think her mom would get her some help. She's been acting insane for a while, at least she notices her daughter is crashing (Unlike Rue's mom, which is really driving me crazy she doesn't notice but could instantly see through her in S1) Nate is toxic with anyone cause he's violent, abusive, and has mental issues.

I think the guy that went to Fez's house said that guy who Ashtray killed, his baby's momma showed up asking questions. Speaking of which, I missed Fez in this episode. I liked Rue and Jules in S1, I thought they had a great friendship and when they got together I thought they were really good for each other. I felt they brought out the best in each other, so that why I shipped them in S1 (and their kiss in the bed was one of the best scenes on the show IMO) but I agree that since this season started they felt off. I always said if they got back into a relationship, it should be after Rue gets her crap together and stops using drugs. The way they had them just INSTANTLY get back together in the first episode and glossed over how S1 ended was ridiculous. So I knew it was going nowhere good. Then they inserted this weird threesome eque crap with Elliot, having him take turns with them, and Jules quickly cheating on Rue. Last night I was basically done with them being in a relationship (but I've also been good with them being friends too) I feel like they ruined what made them work in S1. Even the chemistry between Zendaya and Hunter never felt the same this season, which sucks as well.

I felt so bad for Rue in this episode, if she wasn't played by Zendaya I could easily see her dying. I mean, she's just filling herself up with drugs. It's horrible, and no one seems to notice RME. She's been acting odd the entire season, it's not believable at all. I'm glad Elliot told Jules the truth about Rue not being sober. I'm scared as hell for Rue, but I already had a feeling this season would end bad for her. Cal did wierd me out the entire episode, but that last scene was crazy and one of the best scenes of the episode. In general I agree it was a horrible thing for a husband and father to say, but I feel like it had to be said at the same time since they are all such hypocrites. I was mainly happy Nate heard it all and that Cal told Nate he's his biggest regret. He's such a POS he deserved it. Was I the only one that forgot Cal had two sons? I thought Nate was his only son, we never see another guy in that house so I was like "Who is that?" lol. I also agree, I want to know what happened with his best friend too. That's the only thing I'm curious about with Cal's storyline.

Dang, I didn't expect to type that much but this was such a great and loaded episode lol. I felt like the episode was more of the Euphoria I remember. Still think S1 is better so far, but I loved this and last week's episode *claps* The first episode was good too, I just remember not really liking the second episode so far. I can't wait for next week's episode.
