^^ It has been confirmed that Matthew Goode is in the film, but it is small.

It looks like because Goodey was so busy with other roles during filming, his part is smaller than the first film and they may bring in a 'trouble in Mary/Henry's marriage' story to account for his not being in some of the bigger scenes, like Tom's wedding.

Personally I thought the first movie had more of the downstairs staff story line compared to what was going on with the Crawley family. And I wanted more Mary & Edith but they had very little scenes together.
