The Daily Show with Jon Stewart #1: 10 years of funny!

I noticed that there wasn't a thread for this amazing show so I decided to open one up.

We'll pretty this opening post up in no time. But in the meantime lets have fun.

Here's the standard link to the show's site The Daily Show

And if anyone wants to post their favourite youtube videos from past shows please do.

ETA: I'll start. Here's one from last week Ten F@&king Years ~ Even Stepvhen An hysterical collection of the two Steves debates.

I love the Daily Show. I just haven't seen it in months. I need to set up a tape or something to watch it.

Those YouTube clips are hilarious.

yep, time to start tuning in again. At times it's the only think on TV that's worth watching in my opinion.

There are times when I totally agree with that.

Just some stuff from the net
The theme song is called "Dog on Fire".

The "head-smasher" clip that was used during Craig Kilborn's 5 Questions segment is from the film Lai wong (1991), or The Story of Ricky.

Host Jon Stewart was the guest on Craig Kilborn's last shows as host. Since Kilborn is so tall, he gave Stewart a phone book to sit on to mirror his height.

bailey, thanks for the thread. I was about to go make one but I didn't notice it was already on the board.

I should watch TDS more often. I've only watched parts here and there, and when Stephen invaded his show when they had this whole thing against Geraldo going on

Here's two of those clips that I watched (which are still funny either way):

Jon Stewart checks in w/Stephen Colbert since he's there...or is he?
Stephen Makes Jon Stewart Apologize to Geraldo

I remember those! OMG that was a funny segment. You know I was really upset when Stephen was leaving. I hate it when their correspondents leave. I haven't seen Louis Black in a while. I know he's in the latest Robin Williams comedy. But I LOVED Back in Black. And this week in God.

So who is your favourite correspondent?

BTW, thanks BritneyKay for the tidbits!

Jon Stewart is the only man I trust to give me my news.

I loved Rob Corddry. I miss him so much!!!

And Stephen Colbert is the only man I trust to take a stab at anything or anyone

I'll try to catch tonight's show and tell you my two cents on this after.
