I saw online that the next season is scheduled to premiere on August 2022 but this is unconfirmed and Netflix has not released any news about the premiere of S5 yet.

I’m not as into S2 as I was S1 of this. It seems slower to me. Does anyone agree? I heard it picks up in S3.
I think the casting is great. I love Claire Foy and Matt Smith but I’m looking forward to seeing what the next group can do as well. So it’s not the acting. It just seems like something is missing or the stories are a little less compelling. I’ll stick with it though. |

I can't remember if S2 was slower. I've watched that season only once many years ago when it came out. I do like S1 a lot. And yes, S3 is better. Even S4 but that's just my opinion.
I'm also not too affected by the cast change in S3/S4. I watch Doctor Who and the lead character changes every 3 years so I don't mind. The acting on this show is still on point and that's all that matters (as well as the story of course). __________________
