B i g • T i m e • R u s h  Four hockey players from Minnesota — Kendall Knight (Kendall Schmidt), James Diamond (James Maslow), Carlos Garcia (Carlos Pena Jr.), and Logan Mitchell (Logan Henderson) — get the opportunity to be the boy band called Big Time Rush. They move to Los Angeles, California, where they live at the "Palm Woods Hotel" and attend the "Palm Woods School", a special school just for actors, actresses, singers, and other performers. The boys routinely come into conflict with their overbearing, outrageous, hard-driving (but successful) producer, Gustavo Rocque (Stephen Kramer Glickman), and his well-meaning assistant Kelly Wainwright (Tanya Chisholm), while trying to impress Gustavo's boss, Arthur Griffin (Matt Riedy), so that they can become successful. The boys also frequently come into conflict with "Mr. Bitters" (David Anthony Higgins), the manager of the Palm Woods, a self-important middle manager who delights in catching Palm Woods residents in the act of breaking the (many) Palm Woods rules. He constantly threatens to evict the boys (and various other residents) for rule violations. groupies ღ __________________

Big Time Rush’s Kendall Schmidt Writes Letter to Michelle Obama, Announces New Venture Called iAquaponics
In August, Big Time Rush performed at the White House for Michelle Obama’s “Kids State Dinner,” during which the First Lady told the group to “make smart choices.” Now, band member Kendall Schmidt is taking her advice to heart. Schmidt recently teamed up with his brothers Kenneth and Kevin to launch iAquaponics.com, a site designed to educate the public on the commercial food production system known as Aquaponics — and he’s so passionate about the project, he wrote a letter to Michelle Obama asking for her support. Kendall Schmidt and Carlos Pena Talk New BTR Episodes
The newest episodes of Big Time Rush are bigger and better than ever before, and Kendall Schmidt and Carlos Pena are here to tell you why! In an interview with Teen.com, Kendall dished, “The humor’s better, and we’re always looking for awesome guest stars. Like we had Rachel Crow in one of the episodes.” And boy, did that episode rock! Rachel played an over-obsessed BTR fan who was almost too cute to handle. But what new guest stars are on the way this season?! Carlos gave the deets. “It’s gonna be nuts,” Carlos said. “We filmed about four or five episodes and they’re just huge. Our budget got bigger so we’re doing more gags. I mean literally, I was on a horse for a whole episode, which was awesome. Well, it wasn’t really a horse, it was a large pony named Spicy.” Only more Big Time horseplay is on the way, so don’t forget to tune into the latest all new episode coming your way this Saturday at 8pm!
