Post-AoS I've seen Iain on Roadkill (BBC One) but never finished the miniseries as I got bored watching the first 2 eps.

I watched because it had a good cast (Hugh Laurie & Helen McCrory were in it too) but it just didn't keep me interested at all. It's a limited series so no worries about the show getting renewed or cancelled.

He stayed in the alternative 80's, since they needed someone to stay behind to use the machine with what they came back to our reality. I think

I really liked Deke as well! He was a breath of fresh air, and it was soooo cute when we found out that he was Fitzsimmons' grandson!

He actually enjoyed that time period.

I now remember that he chose to stay behind and it was sad but I understood why he wanted to.

Yeah it was sad, but he didn't belong really anywhere anymore, since his own timeline was wiped out.

That episode was so iconic and I love when someone brought other and like what the hell, why Deke act like it was his song..
