I think it's because they wanted to save him as they have an opportunity to do so. Technically they didn't create a paradox because Sousa did die in that time period, it's just that they faked it.

I think we'll see more of him too. I was actually surprised to see him in that ep as I thought we're done with him as he's left back in the 30s but he's an AI and can survive the time jumps still looking the same.

Same here.. Even tho it seems that he still survive, but I wonder how AI can stay the same unless he had another way to do the time jump..

He's not a living human and a robot so he will look and stay the same and won't age. But I wonder if Enoch will do a time jump or they meet him in another time period? That's possible right?
