It's sweet that he made the effort. He didn't really need to, but they're Hanna's friends, and that seemed to make them his friends too. That's why it bothered me when he left without saying a word to any of them. I get that it was all meant to be about Hanna and Caleb, but it's not realistic that he wouldn't want to talk to his friends, too. He left without a word and that's just really not like him, imo. They have a chance to make up for that if he comes back. I don't trust the writers to take that chance, but it is there.

I'd like Spencer to at least ask why she didn't even get a call. I don't know how much time has passed, but we can assume that he's been gone for a while, and he hasn't contacted any of his friends even once. That's really odd.

Iirc correctly, Hanna told them that she asked him to stay with Miranda, but he didn't say anything to them when he decided to stay. They haven't even spoken to him since Halloween, and I'm not sure they even did then. It's quite annoying because that really doesn't seem like him at all.

I doubt it's something we'll ever get, even if he's back. It would be nice though, and it would be more realistic, because I can't see Spencer just dropping it. That's not who she is. It really would be great to get this friendship back anyway, but I would prefer it if they at least mentioned his not saying anything to her.

It would be OOC if she didn't at least bring it up with him, but with these writers, she probably won't. They always drop/forget things like this because they don't see them as important when they are.

We can always hope that one day they'll sort it out and actually address the things that are important in terms of character. It probably won't be soon though, if it ever does happen. I wouldn't be surprised if, if he does come back, the writers completely forget they were ever friends.

Spencer's relationship with Caleb is the healthiest one she has with a male. I think his influence is a good thing for her, and I always loved how much he seemed to care about her. It'd be a shame if they completely forgot that there ever was a friendship, especially considering how much Spencer has needed a friend recently.

I wish we knew if he was coming back or not. There's a chance he is, but until we know for sure, we can't really know whether or not we even could ever get any scenes with the two them.
