I was going through my old stuff on tumblr, and I had made a Spezra gifset, raving and ranting about their relationship.

I called it one of my faves.

I wonder if I'd still feel that way if 4B didn't happen.

I used to really enjoy their dynamic too, and sometimes I still can, but what he did will always be there, and it's always going to be an issue.

I know, especially because I feel they put Spencer with him to make us feel bad for him? In that 4x07 scene that's what bothered me...

I didn't buy her being willing to talk to him, let alone forgiving him.

Exactly. They should have put more thought into that tbh. I really LOVED their SL in 402 and then they ruined it.

It's annoying that they went as far as they did with him only to try and redeem the unredeemable. Her forgiving him makes no sense considering what he did and his intentions, and if they wanted to make it redeemable, he should have been doing something else.

If you ignore the Aria stuff, he could have been a good mentor to her, but after 4B, that would just be so forced and unnecessary.

Yes they forgave him too quickly i think the fans of aria/erza forced the writers hand into bringing them together again which kind of sucks

Personally I don't think there should have been a redemption, because they took the story too far to a point where there was no going back, but seeing as it was always obvious it was going to happen, it should have taken so much longer.

True. It bothers me how they do these things for shock value and don't wrap it up properly. At least they didn't show Toby being half as shady, I'm glad. But I really enjoyed Spencer/Ezra, so they should have done their best to redeem it, so that we could truly enjoy their moments. Now I just feel like Spencer's being used to push the idea of him/EA down on us.

She is, and that sucks

It's so OOC for her, considering everything that he did. I get her not turning him in, but suggesting that she would forgive him is too much. They should have followed through and actually had there be a process leading her to it.
