I know right like put your dog on a leash sure it’s legal in parks etc to have them off but really shouldn’t on street even if they walk nicely beside you

when im at work (I work at an elementary school) and we take the kids out to the playground behind the building. so many people bring their dogs out to that field to run around without a leash. I make sure they stay away from the kids. I dont care how friendly they might be. I wouldn't take that chance

I always ask the owner first if its ok to pet the dog and then they tell me if the dog is friendly or not

if a dog comes up to mine we ask if it's friendly.
