I love that 1D are getting more popular with older audiences since the tween girls probably won't stick around much longer, but at the same time, I don't really WANT these types of people/Music Snobs to be near my beautiful boys.

yeah that's something i really like in their music...they've always managed to make music according to their age...they never tried to sing like "older" songs just to make more people listen to them. their music grew together with them

Precisely. Especially now that they're writing most of the songs, you can tell it's really them. Often just fun and energetic and perfect.
