I'm assuming they had each others' number. Stiles had Jackson's phone number in season one. Lydia going to Stiles' house in 2x12 was pretty big. I really don't think they saw much of each other over the summer. Stiles just seemed more at ease around her and same goes for Lydia. Sitting by him in class and on the bus. Lydia being protective in Motel California. Pulling him away from Boyd & saving him. (Just in general them touching each other and it not being a big deal, when before Lydia would make a face if Stiles would initiate contact between them.)

I love that Stiles is Lydia's second call. Maybe one day he could be bumped up to her first.

I think they might have hung out a bit over summer. They just already seemed closer at the beginning of the season.

I'm really praying for, once the kiss happened, that it will be adress. I don't want it to just happen and be forgotten...especially from Stiles side...he would never forget that, and I imagine him telling Scott over and over again for the rest of his life LOL

I'm also anxious to see Lydia's reaction after it, and how they'll interact around eachother everytime they are togheter...will Lydia tell Allison?? I hope they do show us those scenes...Stiles telling Scott and Lydia telling Alllison ♥

if stiles plays it off and never addresses it, i'd call shenanigans. i could see lydia doing that but not stiles.

I agree with this SO much. It's opened up more possibilities for the existing characters that I hadn't anticipated, and I like what's being done with Stiles and Lydia because of it.

Plus, Colton is doing well for himself on Arrow, so I don't feel so bad for him not being on TW any more.

^yes, please and also stiles telling scott. but i wonder if they would save that for 3b so much is going on. i bet everybody will be in danger the last two episodes. hopefully there will be some normalcy in the second half of the season.

^ICA. 3a has been hit after hit. I would like to see more balance in 3b. I want more high school, more focus on experiences/situations that teenagers experience, and maybe even the characters interacting with their parental figures more. We have had some of this already, but I want more balance between the supernatural crazy and their regular lives. I don't always want the normal stuff always pushed to the back burner because of alpha packs or other supernatural situations. I think we end up missing a lot of important follow up scenes, but that's just me nitpicking a little.

And yes... please let there be some kind of conversation once the kiss has happened. I just want someone to acknowledge and discuss it. I wonder if anyone witnesses Stiles and Lydia kissing, or if they're alone. I'm guessing on alone but you never really know.
