In recent interviews, Eric Kripke discussed some of the S2 detours.
This isn't technically a spoiler, but some people may not want to know what is changing for Charlie (though her seduction of the bartender was a good hint!) ..
Spoiler:
There is very often a tendency by fans to blame an actor if a character is unlikeable, whereas I've always maintained that the actor can only be as good as the writing for their character. No surprise, then, that I find Kripke's view on Charlie quite refreshing!  __________________

^I agree and love that they are going that route this season with charlie.
 It not only gives her a chance to use the skills that Miles had taught her but to find out more of the "danger" he warned her about constantly, that was different to what she grew up to know. |
