I think he loves Nora more he's just got some weird history we have yet to know with Rachel. and that kiss was before he was snapped out of his funk by Charlie so I saw their sex scene as progress for them.

Hopefully their sex will be addressed and not just passed over.

I doubt it next week its says the romance heats up between them
