I just started watching,so I never checked any interviews or anything. Whatever's common knowledge to you guys is brand-new to me. I agree about Sara,though. She'll be amazing no matter what. She does need to come back,especially since they're focusing more on the league. I'm thinking that she handed the costume over because she knows that she can't come back in that capacity. She needs to come and go,so coming back as Sara the former member of the league is more logical.

I love Olicity and Felicity,but I'm still really fond of Sara/Oliver. I like them much better than the idea of him and Laurel. I'm surprised that they had Shado love him instead of Slade. It was odd and they were perfect for each other. They had chemistry,but it wasn't anywhere near as interesting as the other two. Plus, Sara's story she told Oliver pissed me off. If Laurel made sure that the party got busted and she couldn't see Oliver so Laurel would get him,then I don't really think Sara is the bad guy. No,Oliver shouldn't have cheated,but Laurel made it seem like she was the innocent victim. They both did stupid, vindictive things to win over the same guy.

I agree with you, everything about Oliver/Laurel/Sara/Shado/Slade
But about Sara and Laurel, I don't totally agree. I don't remember right now if Laurel told her sister to be away from him or not. If Laurel didn't know about Sara's feelings I think it's okay, she didn't realize about it. In that case, Sara made a mistake to not confess her feelings, Laurel couldn't guess it. No matter what, I see very wrong what Sara did to her sister. But Laurel should be SO mad with Oliver and not the same way with her sister. Because, what does she know who made the first step? Oliver or Sara?
If I keep writing I'd stay away the main topic (Sara/The Canary), though I would like to talk more about this (would help a lot a general discussion about Sara/Oliver/Laurel or about the couples of Arrow).

I'm team Olicity as well, and I also loved Sara/Oliver although I enjoyed them way more before they got together, the writing got pretty stale after that. The whole Shade/Shado relationship was just written pretty poorly, which is why Slade turning so evil for Shado wasn't understandable to me or a lot of the other viewers. I think Oliver cared about Sara more than Shado though. I think when we continue to see the flashbacks [S2], that was made pretty clear.

Sara's story about Laurel... I don't know, only because there are always two sides of a story, so I really never dwell-ed on that. I do think Laurel did have a right to be upset though, seeing as how her sister and boyfriend were screwing around. Although I think that whole triangle was also written poorly... which is why I'd love to see flashbacks on how that started, how did Oliver & Sara relationship really start.

I totally agree with you It's not easy to focus in a lot of things, but I can see the writing of Oliver/Sara and Oliver/Sara/Laurel was very poorly. I imagined that Slade had feelings towards Shado, but it should have been more developed...

I agree with you as well, and all of those relationships were mentioned were just written poorly. I find it amazing, the romance they didn't plan [Oliver/Felicity] is getting written the best. lol Probably they need to add some better romance writers for the show? because none of the actual romances has interest me at all. Yes including Roy/Thea who I think were entirely too rushed. They went from being together one episode, to being each other's entire world.

Slade/Shado... I needed to see way more. No need for Slade to go over the edge for a woman he knew really cared more for Oliver. That just made no sense, probably it's way more I didn't see. It actually would've been better if Slade and Shado were related. I would've understood Slade actions a bit more.

Oliver/Sara... written so amazing in the first half of Season 2, they get together and the writers doesn't really know where to go with them.

Oliver/Sara/Laurel, horrible written triangle that looked even worst during Season 2. Just a whole big mess.


I loved how they made Sara, just Sara. She doesn't really have a sexual gender preference, she loves who she loves. She doesn't judge. She can fall in love with anybody. I kind of loved how they added that other layer to her.

I love that they have a pansexual character on network tv. They botched Nolan on Revenge, but I doubt they will with Sara. She has to come back because of Nyssa and the others. Also, Merlin is back, so how can she stay away? The only reason I liked Shado was because she was Shae on game of Thrones.

That entire storyline was so boring and repetitive. They were cardboard cutouts and until they brought in Ivo, it was boring. It was obvious that Slade dug Shado and he was jealous of Oliver, but it's so dumb to blame him and Sara. He knows who Sara is,Oliver didn't really have time to choose and the entire vendetta was a massive overreaction. I haven't watched episodes 15 to the finale, but still. Malcolm was insane,but I enjoyed his character so much. Even if John Barrowman wasn't made of awesome,he had layers. You could see how and why he did such bizarre and horrific things. His wife died,not a woman he had a crush on.

Sara is strong and steely, so she doesn't have that hesitation that Oliver does. She will just bust out a can of whoop ass and be a BAMF.

I think that since they're doing Olicity and I heard that Tommy is coming back,they should tell us more about Sara's time with Nyssa. Sara and Oliver just make more sense to me. Plus,Tommy never cheated on Laurel and she only got upset when he left her. I know it's wrong, but I'm team OT3. Sarah was totally flirting with Felicity and it flew over her head.

I Thea and Roy and just assumed that most of it happened offscreen. It was rushed,but I think that's because they always planned to make him Arsenal. My favorite moment was when they showed that Syn was the pilot's little girl. It was so sweet and she didn't even know him.

Shado wasn't used correctly on Arrow at all. I didn't see much of her to care or understand her character or understand why Slade would go on a killing hunt because of her. voices in his head or not.

I agree with you, the whole storyline was just done as poorly as most of the romance on Arrow has been thus far. It was no reason to blame Sara and Oliver, cause he really doesn't know what happened. It wasn't like he was there.
Oliver didn't, Ivo killed so quickly so it was a difficult scene. I never really blamed any of that on Oliver. I think though the writers excuse for most of Slade actions was the Mirakuru.... also he kept seeing Shado in his head.

I agree, I can even understand Malcolm more than Slade. lol

I think that's what I love about Sara, how many layers she has to her. She just isn't all good, or all bad. She has her shades of gray.
I sadly couldn't ship Roy & Thea, they were just done too poorly that it was nothing for me to root for.

Sara is one of the best characters on the show,hands down. She,Malcolm and Felicity are just awesome. I mean,I like Oliver,but it feels like they worked so much harder on Felicity and Malcolm. They gave them some of the best lines, Malcolm had all the great villain storylines compared to the others. Laurel doesn't have as many shades to her,everyone in the past was boring and Thea...is Thea.

I'm looking forward to Roy as Arsenal,but again...Sara,Felicity and Malcolm are the best characters. Bring her back next season to fight the league,even if she's doing it as herself.
