I love Manu standing up for himself and his character. Bravo! I was wondering if we will see more of Slade, but I guess there is his answer. The writers did turn him into such a weakling, didn't expect him to go down/be defeated that easy.

For sure we'll see Slade again, around Oliver's life, trying to ruin it, or who knows, maybe doing something different. And yeah, it was easy for Oliver to defeat him, but the same happened with RAG. I think that's just a problem of how the writers end a story. It's like they can't make Oliver defeat his enemies fighting for his life and making the biggest effort. They make a long development of his efforts during the season, but it doesn't mean that the last fight will be easy.

According to KENS Channel 5, San Antonio police were called to the Grand Hyatt hotel for "an assault in progress." Booking records indicate Bennett was taken into custody following a physical altercation, and charged with assault causing bodily injury. No further details about the incident have been released.

The actor was held on $1,600, and released about 1 p.m. Sunday. The planned "Villains of 'Arrow'" panel at Alamo City was canceled.

Bennett is best known in comics circles for playing Slade Wilson/Deathstroke, Oliver Queen's mentor turned adversary, on the first three seasons of "Arrow." His credits also include "The Hobbit" (the Orc chieftain Azog), "Spartacus" (Crixus) and the upcoming "Shannara Chronicles" (Allanon).

One of the 'Hobbit' villains got drunk, and knocked a guy out cold during a Comic-Con after-party, and ended the night in handcuffs ... according to cops and witnesses.

According to police docs, obtained by TMZ, Manu Bennett was hanging with a bunch of people in a San Antonio hotel room ... drinking and having a good time ... until he was asked to leave. Witnesses told police that Bennett -- who played Azog in the 'Hobbit' -- had too much to drink.

Before Bennett left the room he stared down the other guests, and when one of them dared to ask, "What?" ... witnesses say the actor unloaded a knockout punch to the guy's face.

The victim's nose was broken and bleeding. Cops showed up and went to Bennett's hotel room. At first he didn't remember the fight, but then claimed he was defending himself.

Bennett -- who also stars in "Arrow" and the "Spartacus" TV series -- was arrested and booked for assault.

Yea.. I forgot that Manu got into a bit of trouble. Alcohol can be the Devils drink for sure.

Anyway... OMG. I fangirled a bit tonight when I saw Slade. No lie. As soon as The Argus door I knew what was up. I was think "oh, my god. This isn't happening." Then bam we saw Slade and Oliver said "I need your help" I was gone. I cannot wait till the finale.

yeah it is weird. But it does make sense though because Slade was there during that time of his life where other people weren't. So Slade does understand that part of Olivers life the best .
