I doubt William will learn Oliver is the Green Arrow anytime soon but hey you never know.

I don't know. Maybe there will be one time when his mother doesn't care anymore of holding the truth from him. I can imagine William telling Oliver "I wish you were my father". Their relationship can become in a very emotional connection for him.

Oliver needs all the emotional ties he can get in my mind. It will keep him from getting lost behind his mask.

I agree. He needs people in his life to fight for. I know that the first idea of Green Arrow was "save Star City" but he'll be on those moments when he'll be lost and a city won't be enough for him.

I wasn't excited for Oliver's life with William but after this episode it became more interesting. I loved how William recognized Green Arrow as (his) a hero. Maybe Oliver didn't give him what this boy needed, a father, but he gave him something important for his life, because -I guess that- William won't forget what Green Arrow did for him.

That didn't last long.

I have a feeling we will see him again. Granted probably not until the last episode of Arrow. I think depending on what Season is Arrows last they could do a flash forward and William will be there with Oliver in it. Thats my hope anyway.

I still think that Oliver should not have learned about his son until the last season of Arrow.

I agree, it was better to keep with the secret for the series finale. I always thought it was too big to be revealed so soon.

Hope Samantha as well makes it out alive :look: don't want more Oliver|William from Samantha dying but rather it being maybe going back to Central City and Oliver having a relationship with his son but Samantha being alive

If Samantha dies, Oliver will have a lot of trouble about taking care of his son. I guess he won't want to have William close to him because of the risks

It really could go either way :shrug: After what happened with Prometheus - in turn it may have him wanting William closer instead of distance

Now do you really think they would have William on the show as a more permanent thing?? I think having William around all the time would mess things up with the show in general. But idk that's Just my opinion.

^ I don't think Samantha will die for that reason. I'd rather they do like Sarah said and Samantha and him move back to central city and we see William a few episodes a year. I want to see the father/Son relationship develop but I'm not to sure it's feasible for Oliver to end up with sole custody. It would change the dynamic of the show and I'm not sure the writers could do it jsutice

Granted they were also trying to to have Rene get his daughter back so maybe this is something they want to do. Who the hell knows. I suppose it is season 6. Now would be the time to change up the dynamics.
