yeah it would be odd if he wasn't there. Katie not being there is somewhat understandable considering the show isn't about her. Even though she is the female lead.

What is this Paley thing is it like Comic con, or TCA summer.
CW also does a CW Fall Premiere Party , maybe this year in october or late sptember not early sept,. I think we will get to see more of the cast talking pictures and doing interviews. |

I think in terms of the panel it would be similar to Comic Con, with a screening and a Q&A session afterwards.

Paley is usually pretty good for information and interviews etc.
