they do have a great chemistry... and while I'd love for them to go the romantic route, so long as they have Ollie and Felicity interact and keep their great relationship... I think I'd be okay with that.

Yeah me too. I do think they might explore them in the romantic way, but honestly if they keep up the amazing scenes between them - I don't care either way. I just love having scenes between these two.

I wasn't watching Smallville by the time Oliver came around so I have no idea how they were

You need to definitely watch it. I'm sure you'd ship them as well. Once Oliver met
Felicity, I had flashbacks for Oliver/Chloe. lol That's how alike they are.
Felicity & Chloe - Both blonde, works the computer very well, smart... both knew Oliver secret from the beginning.

Oliver & Oliver -..... well they are the same. lol

If I find a scene parallel between them, I'll gif the scene.
You should catch up one day....
Laurel 'Dinah' Lance makes a few appearances , Oliver ends up with Chloe though. Oliver/Chloe, very popular on the show.
On Smallville though, I loved the idea of Oliver/Laurel on Smallville more than I like it on Arrow. lol I just don't see any reason for me to root for Oliver/Laurel on the show. I think Arrow writing took it to the extreme by having Oliver sleep with her sister. I don't ever remember that happening in the comics or anything.


I guess Arrow, wanted to take a very different direction.
