Yea, I'm confused though. Didn't he sort of lie to her at the end. He said he reached for my gun and i didnt have a choice. Something like that but really Andy just kept goading him and Dig lost it at the thought that Andy or Darhk would keep coming after Lyla and Sara.

Im not sure if he lied because he couldn't deal with what he did because honestly i dont think Lyla would have thought less of him if he told the truth.

maybe i need to reattach the scene but thats how it came across to me.

No, I think he said Andy wasn't gonna stop gunning for them. I'll have to rewatch, but I didn't catch a lie when I was watching and I was all up in it. I love Dyla. They're such an amazing couple.

Yeah he lied, he said Andy reached for his gun and it went off or something like that. ArrowWritersRoom even tweeted about it. Complete with Beyonce reference, lol. But I don't know why he did. He actually used the words I had to put him down which is basically saying he killed him on purpose like a rabid dog. So I don't know why he back pedaled into it was an accident. Lyla wouldn't have judged him. She'd understand. And I know he's hurting and in a dark place but lying especially to Lyla is so not like Diggle. Not that killing like that is either, although really gave him no choice promising he'd never stop coming for Diggle's family, but lying is just so beneath Diggle, he's so a far past stupid stuff like that. It was weird to see him pull an oldOliver move like that. Also why does nobody on this show ever learn that lying is bad and never ends well? How many lies have to blow up in peoples' faces horrificly before these people stop lying to each other? Is getting kind of ridiculous. I really hope they aren't going to mess with Dyla. Dyla are amazing, I don't want them hurt more by all this.

^ Thanks i was pretty sure he lied. I remember watching the scene when he was talking to Lyla and thinking thats not what happened. Im not sure Dig was meaning to lie to Lyla i think it might just have to do with the fact that he's a bit ashamed by the way he killed him. It wasn't in the heat of battle it was out of anger.

I was worried too - but after all Lyla understood him. The only bad thing is that Diggle lied to her (am I right?). He has to tell her the truth sometime.
