ttftnt!

TFTNT :woot:

Any thoughts about the last scene?

Against_all_odds 11-05-2014 07:41 PM

I want to cry-Oliver will feel the betrayal more than anyone else if it's true. He's misplaced his faith in people before, but Roy was in/still is in love with Thea.

Charlone 11-05-2014 07:58 PM

I agree. I don't want to accept it, really, I'd prefer Malcolm to be her muderer.

I don't believe it. Why would he kill Sara?!! Makes no sense...

Charlone 11-05-2014 10:10 PM

It doesn't make sense. I have the feeling it's just a dream and the writers want us to keep our focus away of the actual Sara's killer. Although, it may be pretty obvious that he dreamed it for some reason. We'll see it on the next episode. That last scene opened a new plot for the next episode.
We know Roy. He never wanted to hurt someone who is innocent, he always showed his desires of saving lives. If the writers want to make him a bad guy, I'd feel it very forced because they never showed Roy having bad intentions . Even Sara was very surprised when she saw her future murderer, and I don't think that she'd be that surprised if this person was Roy. I mean, her reaction would have been different.

The promo for next week's episode doesn't make it sound like it's anything other than real. The question is, what are the circumstances surrounding it?

You can't kill me! 11-05-2014 10:50 PM

I won't believe it until I see it. I don't think I could stomach Roy being the one that killed Sara (no matter the circumstances). Roy is one of the two biggest reasons I watch this show.. I don't even want to think about it.

Charlone 11-05-2014 10:58 PM

Writers play with our minds and reactions after something surprising happens, though Roy was acting weird all the time, there aren't enough reasonable ideas for make me think he was her killer. I thought that they'd keep with the plot of "who is Sara's murderer?" until the last episode of this season and I still believe it, so for me it's pretty soon for them to give us the name of her killer.

You can't kill me! 11-05-2014 11:03 PM

I don't mind the writers playing their game... I just don't want it to ruin Roy. Obviously something is going on.. but him being Sara's killer?? Just no. I don't want it.

Charlone 11-05-2014 11:06 PM

I agree. I would feel like all his dreams of saving people were for nothing. The fact he could be Sara's killer would not complement so well with his beliefs .

DigificWriter 11-05-2014 11:10 PM

The writers wouldn't have telegraphed' something like this whole Roy issue if it's not headed somewhere specific and is just a 'red herring'. I don't know what the writers' "endgame" is, but there's more to this story than it just being a 'dream'.

Charlone 11-05-2014 11:12 PM

If there's more of this story based on his dream, it doesn't necessarily have to be something about Sara's death.

A writer isn't going to 'telegraph' something this significant if it's just a 'red herring'. What they revealed tonight is the equivalent of "sticking a gun on the wall and calling attention to it". Said "gun" is going to have to be "fired before the end of Act 2".
