Hmmm okay... but still I think Klaus going to Stefan/Caroline. He is surrounded by so many people and yet to me it seems like he is loneliest now than ever.
That's exactly what I think about the scenario of Caroline/Stefan moving to NOLA. I really wanted it when TO started, but now, after seeing what has happened, I just want all the characters that I like as far away from it as possible.
Klaus does not fit in TVD anymore... I think that he didn't really fit in Season 4 already. Although I disagree about him building up a life for his family in NOLA, I mean he and Elijah only fight over politics and Rebekah left... like I said to me he is surrounded by people, but it's more alone than ever, and I really don't see why he wants that damn city so much? that doesn't make sense to me

That's why I hate what TO did.... Klaus used to be layered, but simple in what he wanted... he wanted to be loved and wanted to be feared, and all that.... Now he is fighting everybody for that city but I don't get the purpose of it... I mean, it's not for family because you don't see him trying to get Elijah on his side or even feeling sorry that Rebekah isn't there, could be the baby but he barely showed any interest in it or protecting it until some threat actually happens...
In the end, all of them (Klaus, Stefan, Caroline) are useless this season.... Stefan now has been turned into a doppelganger victim, so he doesn't do anything other than being hunted for every mystical creature because of what he is, Caroline is the same sidekick of always, and Klaus is just lost
They should all just LEAVE and go have fun around the world

^ I guess it makes more sense for one person to meet up with two people instead of two people meeting up with one person...unless they're road-tripping it. Then it's equal. The loneliness comes from the fact that he's tolerating and manipulating those people like they're pieces that he's moving around a chess board. He wouldn't feel that loneliness if he had people around him who know what he's done/what he's capable of and who accept him for who he is. Stefan and Caroline immediately come to mind, since they're the closest thing he has to genuine friendship, even if they don't feel the same way about him.

It's sad that we can't and don't wanna imagine Caroline and Stefan in New Orleans with Klaus. Headcanon is great and all, but at some point, it all falls away and we wanna see some of those scenes that we've come up with to play on the screen.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I enjoyed seasons two and three because you could see his purpose there. His purpose in season four wasn't so clear to me. I guess I'm taking it at face value. I get this sense that building a life for his family is the reason that he probably wants control of New Orleans. He wants to settle down somewhere that he can control, somewhere that he probably feels safe. The trouble is that that desire has gotten lost/overwhelmed by the power struggle instead so it doesn't work out so well when you see that it's one step forward and two steps back. I think New Orleans was the safest that he felt in any of the cities that he and his siblings travelled to and lived in. There's also the detail that we learned early on in the series. He built the city from the ground up, and he just can't handle the fact that it has thrived under someone else's rule, something that wouldn't have happened if he hadn't been forced to flee. I know it's crazy talk and it's all a lot of nonsense but that's how I see things.

I wanna see the three of them having fun travelling the world together.

Honestly, I think that at this point of the shows it's safe to say that character assassination is just a matter of time. So no one is safe from it, doesn't matter if it's on TVD or TO, imo.

It's true that Klaus didn't have much purpose on season 4 of TVD, but neither did Stefan and Caroline and many other TVD characters and they are still suffering from it. No one has any purpose on TVD anymore, the season itself is lacking a real plot and we just don't see what anything is about anymore. In TO we still have the clear purpose of the war, as ridiculous and bad written as it is, but is still there. I just really hate what they've been doing to all three of them, I feel like they all have way more potential than this, but the writers just keep wasting and wasting and wasting in the name of bad plots, bad ships and bad characters.

I'd really love if Klaus, Caroline and Stefan just run away together and we could fit the pieces later.

^ My shipper heart has come up with all types of Klefaroline moments. I just don't trust that the show will properly showcase their awesomeness together, so I live in headcanon where everything is perfect and nothing hurts.

That's precisely what I was thinking. No matter what happens in the end for the three characters, as long as they're all alive in the end, I'm gonna think that they decided to go travelling around the world together.

Do you see them just travelling all over the world, or do you see them settling down somewhere every few months or years? I would think that the constant travelling would get tiring after a while, and that they would settle down every few months or years. What do you think? =)

^ I think they'd settle down for a while too. Just enjoying a place as much as they can until it's time to move on.
