OMG! I remember Paul saying he wanted to mix things up with a Damon and Elijah pairing. I thought that was really funny. If only Daniel and Joseph were there for that interview. Daniel probably would have just gone with it. He's so out there. I imagine there would have been some questions about the Klaus and Stefan relationship. I could see someone yelling, "Just kiss already!"
