Klaus was a shock I don't

spoilers but unfortunately came across the Hayley one even before the premiere

The ending was emotionally beautiful|breaking|gorgeous|stunning

I do feel the ending was perfect

it was done really nice. but i hate that was was so finale there is no way for them to come back on legacies. although i think i did read that JM doesnt want to reprise his role anymore.

Oh it blows a lot but I liked that especially considering Legacies which either find people are knocking it never gonna or people were right away wanted too or the ones that tried turned to love it

Maybe that's why TPTB made that choice. If The Originals ended with Klaus, Elijah or both alive, that meant that TPTB on Legacies had to explain why Hope's father and/or uncle didn't drop by to see Hope. Having them both gone means that there's a reason for their absence.

I didn't know that...but I can understand why he could feel that way. He spent seven seasons and four episodes playing the character. Maybe he said goodbye to the character when The Originals ended.

^ I didn't read your post until after I had already posted. It's fun when that happens.

When an actor or actress has played the same character for more than five seasons and he or she finds out the end date to playing the role, I just always assume that he or she prepares to finish that character's story and move on.

Even if Klaus and/or Elijah had survived the Originals series finale, I would have only had the tiniest sliver of hope that they would show up on Legacies.
