^ Yeah, I like the series finale about 50 percent of the time. Sometimes I think that it was the perfect ending with Klaus and Elijah dying together, and sometimes I wish that they could have both survived somehow.

After Hayley died

I knew that Elijah was gonna and I didn't want him to survive

wanted him reunited with Heyley

Klaus was a shock though but at the same time it made sense where like PB it was first foremost about the brothers and the ending we got made sense

The alternate ending

actually don't know if would have wanted that where sounds like would have maybe been "cheesy?" and taken away from the feel considering sounds like the finale would have been the same minus some mystery way that Elijah took all of the Hollow saving Klaus

^ Oh, yeah. I should have written that I had a feeling that Elijah was probably not going to survive the series finale. I just didn't expect that he was going to choose to go when Klaus did.

As for Klaus...I was so sure that something was going to happen and Klaus was going to be survive at the last minute. I believed it until the very moment Elijah and Klaus staked each other with white oak stakes.

^ That makes one-and-a-half of us. I say half because I believe it was the right ending for Klaus and Elijah only half of the time.
