 He was the only non Mikaelson that I was rooting for.   That was kind of tough since I was also rooting for Klaus.     __________________

Marcel right away from the "backdoor pilot" seemed so interesting to me
being like a son to Klaus and all__________________

^ Oh, yes. It's not often you see Klaus act that way with a character not named Mikaelson. It was obvious in the backdoor pilot that Klaus felt much affection for Marcel. After seeing that, I was all on-board for more Klaus/Marcel moments.

^ Oh, yes. I love that season one gave us a better understanding of their dynamic. That was one of the bonds I was really looking forward to finding more about, and TPTB didn't disappoint with giving me the goods.
