I think so. They probably won't go through the whole weird being "reborn" in a Midgardian's body like they do in the comics. I was actually kind of thankful that they didn't of that route when Thor was first banished to Midgard. It got rid of that whole love "triangle" between Jane, Thor, and Dr. Donald Blake.
