It's possible in Thor 2 or another movie down the line, Loki will have to team up with Thor again to protect Asgard. He still identify himself as an Asgardian even after rejecting his family, so I'm sure a big enough danger would shift things (at least temporarily) once again.

I tbh would LOVE if that happened Fran having to team up and not always be against each other. Their is brotherly love still there even if Loki feels underneath Thor

I agree, deep down, I don't think Loki could handle seeing Thor hurt (unless by him of course)

I think this Tom Hiddleston quotes sums up the current post-Avengers Thor/Loki "dilemma" pretty well:

Loki was so evil in this movie but I really love their friendship as brothers it's nice to seee good vs. bad it's fun especially if you're a family member.

I love that quote from Tom! It sums up Loki really well when it comes to Thor. I can't wait for Thor 2 as well! Since he won't be primary villain, I hope teams up with Thor somehow.

That's pretty accurate.
He always seems to love analyzing and talking about the characters he plays, but he really gets passionate about Loki.

Both he and Chris have said to enjoy the dynamic between their characters and expressed hope there is more to come in Thor 2. I hope they are right.
