Everyone seem to like them better in the second movie (well, Darcy and Jane, I don't see many people mention Erik one way or the other). I respect the opinion but I don't get it.
 I wonder what their role will be in Thor 3. __________________

I can see why if you like Darcy and don't mind the constant humor you enjoyed seeing her have more to do, but Jane only had some control of her own actio around the end of the movie, so I was surprised by many comments.

Yep. There are many people who hates my favourites or their development, so it's all about perspective/taste.
I wish I loved all the characters in Thor simply because that's my favourite universe. __________________

I'm so sorry but the level of pain I felt when Frigga dies is like 100 times more than what I felt when Coulson dies.

I genuinely wasn't that heartbroken when Coulson died, although it was sad. Now, retrospectively, I would feel worse because I know much more about him, but back then it was another story.
We didn't really get to see much of Frigga, either, before she got killed, but her moments were very emotional and you could feel how much her presence affected the balance of the family. So losing her was a harsh blow. __________________

While I like Coulson, he's really not essential to the storyline. Frigga is the glue that holds the Odinson family together.
