I did have a wonderful Christmas! Nice and quiet one with the family. Just ate, drank wine, and watched Insidious 2 and Fast and the Furious 6! Not Christmas movies, but oh well

TFTNT My Christmas was quiet too, just me, my parents, my boyfriend, and grandma. It's the first Christmas my bf and I spend together, so I was really happy We made our typical Christmas food, exchanged gifts at midnight, and then had some birthday cake with ice-cream (it was my bf's b-day the day before, so we baked him a cake )


And, to answer to this title, YES, yesterday WAS the first day of 2013, unbelievable

Your Christmas days sound wonderfully nice, Ju and Kris.

I spent it with my parents, some years we have my uncle and his wife over for lunch or dinner but this year it was only us.

I restrained myself a bit more with the leftovers today, not so much with the wine and bubbles, though.
I got some money, a body lotion + perfume set, sweets (they always count ), and a gift certificate (? English fail moment) for the bookstore.

We call those gift cards in the US. When they were printed on paper they were called gift certificates, but now they look like credit cards!

Hey guys! Have a spare moment so want to ask how everyone's christmases/holidays were.

Christmas was very busy around here and we may be in and out of the house with family this week

Christmas day for the first time we spent it just the four of us at home! Usually we are at my uncles house but my brother only had 2 days with us before going back to work. I cooked christmas dinner (but roast pork) with my mum.

We all pitched in - i did veg and sauces my dad did the pork etc we opened pressies during the day and took loads of photos! (Coming soon...)

Today we went to my relatives for another christmas dinner! Then my nephew who has been dying to play tennis with me, and i, his mum and my dad went to play tennis! We were cauggt in the flood so getting there was a mission!!

It was also my aunts bday so we got back in time for cake!

Im beat. *collapses*
