Anyway I can't wait for GOTG3, the Guardians are my favorites in the MCU!

I honestly forgot how much I really love the guardians. They're my favourite as well. I only recently saw this movie because I was so behind on the MCU and I just loved it so much.

for a long time my favourite group in the MCU used to be the X-Men because I have been watching the X-Men movies for many years, but after the release of the first GOTG movie in 2014, I immediately fell in love with this quirky and hilarious bunch of characters the Guardians quickly overshadowed the X-Men for me, and now the Guardians are my favs what I love about the Guardians is that they all started out as the outcasts, they were the underdogs in the MCU, and somehow they all bonded and formed close connections with each other, they banded together to form their own group, and in many ways, the Guardians are the one team in the MCU that are the closest to a family, they are so close because they have no one else in their lives besides each other

I still remember way back in 2014 before the first GOTG movie was released, the casts said that people had a lot of doubts about whether the movie would be a success, and the media were treating them like the underdogs, some of the media even thought that GOTG would become a big flop at the box office, but GOTG instantly became one of the most commercially successful movies in the MCU, and GOTG2 made even more money than the first. I love how the Guardians proved all of their skeptics wrong, initially people had no idea who the Guardians were and the media were treating them as the underdogs, but after GOTG was released, they quickly became so popular with fans and now they are 1 of the most popular teams in the MCU, they have probably eclipsed the X-Men now too

thanks for the links...I really love that scene with Gamora pleading Peter to kill her and he actually pulled the trigger, it was so beautifully shot. You can see the anguish in Peter's eyes as he reluctantly pulled the trigger, it showed that as much as he loves Gamora, he was still willing to respect and honor his promise he had made to her earlier to kill her, that actually proved how much he loved Gamora.

I don't blame Peter for screwing up the plan and I have already explained in great detail about why I don't blame him in the IW thread, he has lost so much in his life and losing the love of his life too it's understandable he would react that way, and it's very consistent with Peter's character.

Very true. It's partly why I was so excited about them interacting with the avengers. They're already such a tight family that they're not necessarily looking for new additions to their little bunch yet they fall into these new dynamics so naturally.
