And of course I'm already seeing all the 'I'm glad it wasn't Taylor Swift!' comments. First of all, people keep acting like she ensnared him in some kind of evil web or something. The man was 35 (she was 26) when he dated Taylor, not some 18 yr old teenybopper. He knew what he was getting into when he agreed to that first date. She's a much bigger star than he is and her life will always be lived in front of the media. No matter what either camp says, that relationship was a PR move for both of them. It kept Tom front and center in the entertainment news for 3 months in 2016. I'm sure neither of them were heartbroken when they said their goodbyes in September.

Yeah, I felt like they was fine after that.. Honestly, it was weird relationship, but as you said it was PR..
