It's not practical to the story line, but damn it I wanted young Steve and Bucky.

True, and that's the downside of film is that they only have so much time to use, so can only leave things that are connected and pushes the story&character along. Only have so much time to develop characters, so must pick and choose. They can delve really deep into like television.

I hope not! I mean what's the point since we know Chris is going to be in the Infinity films and I'm pretty much done with the whole bringing people back to life bit. lol I think if they ever kill him (though I hope they don't! ) I think it would be in the Infinity Wars. Maybe be the one who makes the finale blow or something with Thor's hammer. I just don't seen the need for Bucky to be something else when he's awesome character on his own. Same for anyone else who might take up the Captain mantel.

At this point, Bucky is utterly not fit to take up the Captain America mantle anyway.
