I wouldn't mind moving, but where I live the weather is nice and the threat of natural disasters is low. I like my comfort. Can I bring that with me?

Yeah, California isn't exactly easy to deal with. And even if nature behaves, you still have to deal with pollution if you hang around LA.
Then let's say you should at least spend your vacations there, and go celeb/boyfriend hunting.
