It is very sad, I wonder what will happen to the Black Panther movies now?

Well they, Marvel will use CGI in the Sequel, you know they can’t just make the movie and not tell a story of death of the king . Not sure out of the main male characters who could become the new king of Wakanda.
I know his death is so new that most fans etc i’m not even thinking of that at the moment.
I mean no disrespect to Chadwicks memory . It is a discussion that will be addressed sooner then later .


In the movie the Gladiator. one main Supporting cast member passed away during the filming . In post production they used CGI to finish the scenes he had not finished .

They sorta did that with Paul Walker due to how they were in the process of filming F7 they CGI but think mainly used his brother[s]

Were they even in the process of filming BP2 and I can't even imagine a recast where don't know who could do it where all this now puts a huger accomplishment on what Chadwick did. Something truly legendary

No, filming hasn't started yet. They were slated to start May 2021. They'll have to do rewrites I imagine and maybe utilize unused footage from the movies he was in.

If they haven't started filming I rather they recast even if it'll probably be hard to find the right person I hate they not use unused footage

I wonder though if they could somehow kill off his character and the Black Panther be brought down to one of the women

I think I'd rather Shuri take over than a recast. She has taken on the mantle of Black Panther in the comics when her brother was gravely ill. If they do a recast, I don't think he should play T'Challa, but rather another character. There have been plenty of male characters who have held the title over the past few decades.

Yes which actually just had finished an ETA about whether the fact of could they somehow make it that one of the women could take.over as BP

I feel that would be the most respectful either one of the women or a different character (kinda like Sam taking over as CA)

I do believe he's been the main Black Panther for the last few decades. There have been a few substitutes here and there, but T'Challa has always come back to take the mantle.

They recast Rhodey and Bruce Banner after their first movies. Maybe they’ll do the same with T’Challa

Yes but their movies didn't make that big of an impact plus the universe hadn't grown as it has think its best to give the mantel to one of the women or a totally different character altogether
