I'm lucky that I have this week off work otherwise I would have to have waited to see it. I managed to see it with my brother on the first showing on the day it came out.

Saw it last night , it perhaps. So different from any other Marvel movie I have seen . Big fan of Michael P Jordan , he brought a street type character who has massive combat training/ experience . So great visual effects as far as what country looks like the waterfalls scenery. Costumes . Seeing my walking dead star that I really enjoy watching In a totally different role was nice to see . Black Panther himself was excellent in his portrayal..

I need to know if it was just me or a parts of movie visually the screen was darker .
I’ll need to see it again non 3D..
To sit thru all the credits just to see Bucky Barnes for 1 min .. or Do what I saw others don go out of the theater go to the bathroom and come back in !

Loved the movie.

Killmonger was a great villain. He's basically what I wanted Hela to be. The "Golden Jaguar" name was totally made up by people on the internet, it's just another Black Panther suit.

And as a big Winter Soldier fan, I was so happy to see Bucky doing better.

I must admit, I don't have much confidence in Michael B Jordan as Killmonger. He's a good actor and he's done some fine work, but I don't think he has the gravity to play a major villain. And isn't he supposed to be playing a guy from America whose family is from Africa? They got the "from America" part right, but he just doesn't have the look of somebody whose family recently came from Africa. Contrary to racist stereotype, black people don't all look the same and people whose ancestry is recently African tend to look quite different from people whose ancestors have been in America for centuries. I'm afraid I feel they've screwed up badly in the casting for this film. It could have been so much more if they'd gone for more authenticity. That said, when it comes out on dvd I will see it. I don't see films in the cinema anymore. I'm stil waiting for Thor: Ragnarok to come on dvd later this month. And when I do see Black Panther I'll give it a fair chance. I just don't have high hopes.

Well, he's certainly better fleshed out than most of the MCU's generally one-dimensional cartoon bad guys. And there's sort of a reason for him not looking fully African.

Fleshed out is the writing, not the acting. It's the acting that concerns me. What's the reason for him not looking fully African? You can put it in spoiler tags if you don't want to post it openly, or PM it to me.
