 Thanks, Mee!Great idea for the OP, too. Being the Christmas holidays TV channels have been airing more big title movies than usual, and I'm trying to catch something every night. Tonight I saw Disney's A Christmas Carol and The Wolfman. ACC was an okay adaptation with some very good moments, but nothing that impressed me all that much. The Wolfman, instead, did impress me - with how bad it was. OH MAN. With such a cast it shouldn't have sucked as much as it did. Visually it looked pretty cool (but I'm a huge sucker for period movies set in 1800) but it was so dull I was this close to turn it off at least three times. __________________

I watched that version of ACC once I think. I haven't watched The Wolfman yet.
One of my favorite movies ever, The Brotherhood of the Wolf, was on a local channel this weekend and I watched the last hour of it. |

Do yourself a favour and never watch The Wolfman. Although the scene with Anthony Hopkins turning into a werewolf and ripping his shirt off afterward is one for the history books of lulz.
Is The Brotherhood of the Wold the one with Vincent Cassel and Monica Bellucci? I watched it for the first time about a year ago - still pissed the protagonist's best friend had to die. But it was a fun movie. __________________

Perhaps it wasn't her choice, but the studio producing the movie had the option to call her back for another picture because of a previous contract, and picked that one for some reason. They must hate her.

I like the ID channel. Most of the reenactments are super cheesy, but the stories are at least compelling.
I'm watching Deep Blue Sea with Samuel L. Jackson and Stellan Skarsgård. Nick Fury and Erik Selvig! I love this cheesy movie. |
