They mostly show rerun movies on the weekdays on TV, but always new one on the weekend which that made sense, but that's how America is..

They do that here for the weekend because they know people doesn't stay home to watch Tv, the same in summer, it's just re-runs and re-runs for months

Ahh, no wonder.. I know that they don't show lot news movie on every weekend during summer, but just like one/two movies most go on vacation..

Even our cinemas are empty in the summer. Your "blockbuster" movies are released later here because people is on the beach and not in theaters to watch a movie
