But I vowed to post here as long as FF is around so I won't really be going anywhere anytime soon. This board means a lot to me because when I first joined FF, it was only this board and the Ian board which I posted in.

This is the only board I'm posting in... Well, I've posted in the books board about ten times, but that's it...

I haven't asked this but how did you find out about FF and this board?

Well, it all started about three months ago when I was zipping between channels on tv... and then as I zipped I caught sight of the most gorgeous woman I have ever seen (that was Kate Moenning, in case you haven't guessed ) so I switched back to that channel and watched the l word for the first time in my life, completely tranfixed by this beautiful girl. After the episode ended I went online and searched her name (well, I searched "shane" first because I didn't know her name yet, but I found it quickly), and then I started watching every thing she ever played on (and I still havn't seen "slo-mo" or "ice people", dammit), and that was how I heard of Young Americans.

So I watched that on youtube, and was totally addicted; but it had only eight episodes! So what do you do next? Of course, you search for fanfiction. And that was how I came by this board Then I hung around for a week or two, before I decided to join. And I'm glad I did!

Oh wow, it all started with the Kate Moennig effect.

It was in YouTube that I first watched YA too, but because of Ian, and then of course after watching YA, i fell in love with Kate too.

I hung around FF for quite some time too before I decided to be a member. And I made the right choice cause people here are really great!

Well I first saw Ian in Lost, I immediately fell in love with his character Boone and that marked the beginning of my being a crazy fangirl.

Anja: Wow, one of the top 5 boards, I didn't know that, well, I just joined this year. But yeah, this board pretty much ruled before. (not that it doesn't rule anymore now, it still does! )
