...and since we're at the last page of the thread, does anyone have any title ideas for the next one? As you can see from the previous titles in the OP, we started using the same format for them a long looooong time ago, and I'd personally love if we stuck to that Any ideas?

Asena, that's in episode 4, the cotillion episode, from 6:18 minutes into this clip to the end of the clip.

That's everybody's favorite scene in YA. It's also the climax of the drama, well-located exactly halfway through the eight episodes.

Note that when Hamilton kisses "Jake," "Jake" turns into a girl -- underscoring that this is an unpdating of the old "test of true love" tales like The Frog Prince. But that's just the start. After "Jake's" disclosure that she's a girl, Hamilton flees from her, plainly horrified, and doesn't come back for hours, during which he retires to his room to think it all through.

Thank you. I actually ended up doing an almost full rewatch of Young Americans after writing that! Great catch, the Frog Prince connection. Love intertexuality!

You might consider keeping "happily ever after" and start varying the verb, rather than varying the adverb.

I`m all in favor of that too.

Also i`ve been re-watching Young Americans in the last few days and it has been so great reliving all of the great Jahammer stuff from their awkward beginning to their finally getting a grasp on their relationship at the end. Jake and Ham were one of my first ships and i still love them today as much as when i first saw them when the show was on the air. Ian and Kate did such a great job of bringing Jake and Ham to life. I would love to see them reunite on a future project or maybe even on The Vampire Diaries.
