there were about 45 people at my showing of WW1984, everyone sat in seats marked by red tape. if you didn't stay in that seat, the usher was allowed to escort you out, according the covid regulations posting on the entrance. all of the screens had a 50 people or less rule, i just don't see how the theaters make any money.
 i didn't buy anything because i wanted to limit my time near people, but i did sneak in a bag of m&m's and a mini-redbull. lol  __________________

we only have two theaters open in my area, no showings after 9pm, 50 person rule, and both are closed on Monday and Tuesday. the dinner theater near me, went bankrupt and shut down permanently in September, and some of the other closed theaters were being rented out for occasions, until the new state covid restrictions in November.

we currently have a midnight curfew, except for emergencies and food, and now they are talking going to 10pm, so that would restrict the late shows.
