yeah the Fox X-Men will end up being an alternate reality universe probably the 614 Universe that is parallel to the comics 616 Universe and 109999 MCU Universe timeline, there are many timelines in the Multiverse, it's been canon like this back to the 1960s with Stan Lee, Jim Starling, Steve Ditko, and many other famous writers and artists who formed the Multiverse.

They could. Just don't wanna. so they can get their grubby little mits all over the X-men and any other thing Fox owns.

Can't wait for the PG versions of Die Hard, Alien and Predator.

In other news. Seems X-Men is back In the title as X-Men: Dark Phoenix.

um, X-Men and Fantastic 4 are Marvel properties dating back to the 1960s. Fox did an atrocious hatchet job on ALL the F4 films, especially that last abortion where they wore suits instead of cosmic powers, total gross waste of film. the Marvel MCU will finally do F4, Doc Doom, Silver Surfer, and Galactus the World Destroyer, the cinematic justice they well deserve. the original 2000s XMen films are pretty outdated and obsolete now, i still have that trilogy on dvd somewhere, and it has it's place in the Multiverse.

i really liked the XMFC/DOFP/XMA trilogy and am looking forward to the XMDP closeout chapter in 2019!

all of these fine films with the Trinity of Fass, JLAW, and McCavoy have their special place in the Multiverse, but since XMDP is the final chapter of them, it is time for the XMen to return home to the House of Marvel. let's see what Kevin Feige can do for the Mutants of Marvel!

in case you haven't noticed, Disney does not heavy-handedly mess with Marvel MCU films, pretty much just ensures that they are PG-13 in order to get the large majority of comics readers/fans/young viewers into the theater, and i really have no issue with that, 19 films so far and i am over 90% well pleased with them! i'm not a big fan of Deadpool anyway because he constantly does things to break me free of the film-world-illusion and i hate that crap, stop talking to the viewer dammit! to me, all of Disney's madness and retcon-pc-politics mumbo jumbo is pretty much restricted to the Star Wars films, especially those atrocious episode 7 and 8 hot messes. yeesh. as long as the mouse house stays clear of messing with Kevin Feige's master plan, i'm good!!!

just in case you're wondering, the mouse house SW episodes 7 and 8 and whatever garbage 9 is, do not exist in my reality!

actually, i'm not, i don't care about political agendas and all the current drama of contemporary themes and what not. i'm angry with the mouse house for completely disregarding the 200+ books of the SW Expanded Universe, completely authorized by LucasArts and Lucasfilms, and retconning everything imaginable for the sake of said political agendas. we'll never see Grand Admiral Thrawn, Admiral Daala, Emporer's Hand Mara Jade, New Jedi Council and Knights, Sun Crusher, Palpatine reborn and his clones, the Dark Empire Series 1 and 2, New Republic and so many more huge stories from major SF authors that did just great justice to the Star Wars brand. i have no intention of ever watching Episode 9, no matter what they do to fix the mess created by 7 and especially 8. my SW universe ends on Endor. period.

maybe the mouse house episodes happen in an alternate universe, a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away in the opposite direction...or maybe they happen in the Sarlacc Pit.
