I watched it, but I'm not a fan of acapella so I just watched it for Anna and all the Rebel quotes

I saw an early screening of this months ago. I love Anna (Up In The Air and Scott Pilgim saw to that. Also her Nerdist interview. Found here), and Rebel's hilarious, but the movie's only okay IMHO. I'm not sure where the hype's coming from tbh. And the description of it as being like Bride's Maids meets Ted doesn't even make sense. It's not bad though, and if folks is likin' it then I should probably just shut up. I do wish there was more of Elizabeth Banks and John Michael Higgins, though. They were pretty funny.

P.S. Everyone should check out a movie called Drop Dead Gorgeous - with Kirsten Dunst - from back in '99. It shares certain similarities with Pitch Perfect, but is for my money a better (and funnier) flick.
