How would you guys describe the look that Daisy had on her face in S2E1 after William asked if she was his "girl"? Would you describe it as fear? Confusion? A "whoops, what have I done" look? Something else entirely?

Another question: why did she feel that her marriage to William was a sham? Because he was dying? Because by that time it was only so she'd have a pension? Because she didn't love him? Because it wasn't consummated? If it's the latter, how would Daisy have known what is supposed to occur on a normal wedding night?

I think it was because she didn't love him fully and that she wasn't ready. Of course she didn't know William was going to die, she was worried too. Yes he was at war and there was a chance that he could die but one would always hope a loved one or someone they know survives the war. I think she was also overwhelmed by his feelings and feels guilty for not having those feelings reciproacted back.
