He really is. That moment in 4x01 is one of my faves from that episode. Yes it was sad but I loved it because it showed us just how strong this friendship is.

It's so true. Come to think of it, Mary doesn't really have that many friends and the closest she has are actually 2 from downstairs: Carson & Anna.

It's true that Carson has been like a dad to Mary. They care about each other a great deal and have known each other forever.

I feel like Mary needs to askk Carson's opinion about who she's going to marry soon. Not that it will matter so much since I know Carson will be supportive but it would be nice to hear his thoughts on those wooing her.
