I just hope they don't have Bonnie suddenly desire to go back to Jeremy right when he gives up on her because that would be ridiculous.

I wonder if the writers realize what they're doing with Bonnie not mentioning Jeremy. Are they doing it on purpose or are they just lazy?

My pessimistic side says they deliberately had Jeremy break down in 6x06 and then disappear for 2 episodes, so by the time Bonnie gets back, he will already be moving on from her. As for Bonnie, I can't help but feel like this also may be intentional, as if Jeremy isn't important to Bonnie anymore.

At Comic Con, JP said it was her idea for Bonnie to "break up" with Jeremy over the phone and not give them a goodbye because she wanted it to be different from all the other times they separated. Maybe that was intentional, too. Maybe she wanted it to be different because she knew they wouldn't get back together this time.
