Didn't see this coming at all. I guess you just never know what's really going on behind the scenes. I hope whoever they get to replace him doesn't take the show in some ridiculous new direction next season. I've seen that happen with shows before and I'd hate to see it happen to Revenge.

I do have a show that I want to change showrunners, but not Revenge.

That definitely makes me worried. Mike was the one reassuring us about how the show would return to it's Season 1 routes in Season 3. Now anything could happen.

As for the disagreements Kelley had with ABC, I'm torn. I get that this show would definitely be much easier to write if it had shorter seasons. But I simply love watching it so much that I couldn't stand having just 12 episodes per season. Surely the writers can find enough story in the premise to carry 22 episodes.

Yeah, just saw it and I agree: Didn't see that one coming! I'm unsure how I should feel? If the show's creator leaves, that could be bad. I only have two examples, one is of course Community's Dan Harmon's departure from Community - and season 4 isn't good. Also back in the days, Dawson's Creek creator Kevin Williamson left his show (though I enjoyed season 1-4). I also liked Mike from interviews and so, but haven't seen Revenge season 2 yet (besides first 4 eps), I'm not mad or sad because the show needs to change some things. Still I wonder why Mike left.
