* What's really holding me back from pulling together the list of quotes is the pain of facing them all again. I don't know if Lizzy Weiss and her team of writers realize it, but they truly broke my heart with Bay & Emmett. The pain is real. I'd almost rather have a toothache or a headache, than this heartache. Lizzy Weiss reversed every special moment Bay & Emmett had shared. She negated them all, and I will never understand that. She could have at least left one, for fans to hold onto.

Example 1:

Bay (July 11, 2011): "You are the best listener I know."

vs.

Emmett (February 17, 2015): "We don't have to talk about what happened....No, I am not putting you through that."

Example 2:

Emmett (August 8, 2011): "I've never been comfortable around hearing people. I haven't been around them much. But, with you, it was different. From the beginning, you weren't hearing, or deaf. You were just Bay. The truth is, it would be easier if I could just go find a deaf Bay. But I don't want a deaf Bay. I just want you."

vs.

Emmett (August 24, 2015): "He's lying. He doesn't love you. Yeah, he's right. I don't. And I don't love you either. None of us do. We don't want you. We don't want you. We don't want you. We don't want you. We don't want you. We don't want you. We don't want you. We don't want you. We don't want you. We don't want you."

(I mean, Lizzy Weiss had Emmett negate his original words TEN TIMES in a row. Could she have obliterated his original heartfelt message to Bay any more completely?)

Bay (August 24, 2015): "Something happened to me, and he bailed, because he could only see how it affected him."

Emmett (January 10, 2012): "She's my girlfriend, and she's not going anywhere."

Example 5:

Emmett (February 17, 2015): "I'm not okay with it."

Example 7:

Emmett (October 22, 2012): "I will always come find you."

Bay (March 10, 2015): "What happened to 'I'll always come find you?' What happened to every single thing that you have ever said to me?" (To which Emmett replied, "I meant them all. Something shifted.")

Example 8:

Emmett (September 3, 2012): "Then I'll wait, until I figure out how I can."

Bay (March 10, 2015): "No. No, you get this straight. You do this now. It's done. It's forever."

Example 9:

Emmett (August 19, 2013): "However bad you're feeling right now, he's going to feel way worse, when he figures out what he's lost."
